A progressive pathway that begins with facial expression and nonverbal communication, then moves into baseline, deception concepts and applied observation.
Part I · Foundation
MEX.1
MEX.1 introduces micro and macro expressions, the seven universal facial expressions, nonverbal communication and body language. Participants learn why identifying an emotion does not reveal its cause and why interpretation requires baseline, context and care.

Part II · Applied observation
MEX.2
MEX.2 explores truth, lying and deception as human behaviours, together with paralinguistics, baseline and interpretive risk. A video-based exercise asks participants to analyse performers and explain their observations rather than rely on intuition alone.

MEX.3
MEX.3 is the advanced stage historically associated with the MES visual training pathway. Current content, delivery format, entry requirements and intake availability must be confirmed directly with MES before enrolment.
